Celebrities Pay Tribute to Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave

By  May 19, 2017

Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave, was found dead in the bathroom of his hotel room, just hours after putting on a show in Detroit, Michigan.

Expectedly, many were shocked by the passing of one of rock music's greatest voices. Chris was described as "in high spirits" by a friend who saw him recently.

As it turns out, his death has been ruled as suicide by hanging.

Chris Cornell was lead singer of bands Soundgarden and Audioslave. Alongside, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, he was the poster boy of grunge music in the 90's.

As the forefronts of grunge, it was Soundgarden's music and Chris' voice that influenced the likes of Stereophonics, Evanescence and many more.
