Lana Del Rey’s newest album Lust For Life may not have an actual release date yet but she has released the title track onto the interwebs, with a little help from Selena’s beau, The Weeknd.
Lust For Life is the follow up to previous Lana x Weeknd collabs, Prisoner, Stargirl and not forgetting Party Monster.
An album of firsts, Lust For Life is also the first collaboration track to be featured on any Lana album thus far! The second being another collaboration on the album revealed to be with Sean Lennon (John Lennon’s son!).
The song is a dreamy atmospheric pop song, centered around the themes of Hollywood and love, typical Lana.
The music video is primarily monochrome and features the singers CGI-ed on top of the Hollywood sign. And that’s pretty much it for the 4 minutes. Visually, it’s in the same vein as her previous video, Love and fans of these two songs will pretty much love the entire album.
