WATCH: Eminem Fights His ‘Monsters’ with Rihanna!

By  December 16, 2013

Ah, don’t we love music video trailers?

Much like their film counterparts, music video trailers really hype you up and deep down inside, you know the end product is bound to be epic.

For his massive hit, The Monster, that features Rihanna on its chorus; Eminem decided to use his past problems as inspiration for the plot of the video.

Looking really sexy in her all black get up, Rihanna plays the rapper's psychiatrist and takes down notes as her patients watches old music videos of his past.

From his substance addiction to his violent tendencies and even the touchy subject of his much loved family; Eminem confronts it all.

To end the trailer off, spec ops policemen in full field gear surround a cage (just like the one in The Walking Dead where the Governor kept his ‘pet’ zombies), as if waiting for something to appear out of it.

Although the trailer doesn't use the official track in it, the monotonous metronome playing in the background makes for a powerful sound effect that creates an entirely eerie mood.

Although no date has been specified yet, the music video already looks like it'll be a winner.
