We Are The In Crowd Goes Full On Breaking Bad In 'The Best Thing' Video

By  December 16, 2013

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from We Are The In Crowd’s latest ex-boyfriend bashing hit, it’s that lead singer Tay Jardine is one woman we wouldn’t want to mess around with.

Yet the metamorphosis from perky Never Be What You Want vocalist to a jaw-breaking, F-bomb exploding vision of female empowerment is taken up a notch with the visual representation of The Best Thing (That Never Happened). Obviously, those Sundays spent watching a certain meth-addled AMC series in John Feldman’s yard has paid off.

Opting out of the usual routine of breaking up over the Internet, Jardine’s growth, decay and transformation is summed up in less than 3 minutes of high speed sandy action. Said to be filmed in the same desert where a particular Spice Girls video was shot, it seems to be a nod to the vast Albuquerquean landscape, now notorious for many devious deeds.

(Uh ohJesse Pinkman, bitch)

Unfortunately for an uncanny Jesse Pinkman (with a bit of John Mayer) lookalike who might’ve been kidnapped and held in the back of a Mustang’s trunk (all too familiar?), Jardine has something up her sleeve.

(Pinkman escapes from the Nazis only to run into the wrath of Tay Jardine)

Is the WATIC frontwoman the next ruthless Heisenberg? Will she dispose her former partner without any mercy?

Find out below!

Meanwhile, pre-orders for the band’s forthcoming Weird Kids is now available at their MerchNow.
