Kodaline Releases Sequel to 'All I Want' Music Video!

By  October 6, 2013

More than a year after Irish alternative rock band Kodaline first released their music video for All I Want, the band has finally dropped its sequel! It's the same song, but the video is a continuation from where was left off in part 1.

Part 1 is brilliant and hands-down one of my favourite music videos of all-time. It was specifically this part of the video that won me over:

How can anyone not be in love with that dog (his name is Digby, as we later find out in part 2)??? A G H.

So when I found out that Kodaline released a part 2 of the video, I was so happy I watched it straight away even when I had more important work to do at that point of time (screw that). A quarter through the video, it was evident that the storyline of the music video was about Digby being lost. You can imagine how happy I was about that - not because Digby was lost, but because that meant that we'd be able to see a lot of Digby in the video.

I was certainly not disappointed with the amount of Digby featured in the video (yes I am obsessed).

However, I was kind of disappointed about the video for not being the answer that we were looking for after Part 1. In Part 2, Monster Face (that's what I call him haha) is still working at the same place with the same colleagues (who were total assholes) and he still have not gotten the girl which he saved from his colleagues' harrassments. Yes, Part 2 ended with that girl over at his place and both having fun together with each other's company, but I still wish the video didn't just end there.

Oh well. Maybe there'd be a part 3 because I would really watch how the relationship between Monster Face and the girl, blossom. But even if there isn't a part 3, Little Digby still makes up for the lack of good storyline, I guess. Watch Part 2 of All I Want below!

Kodaline is definitely a band to watch out for in 2013! "Brand New Day" will have you listening on repeat without a doubt!
