What's cooking? Owl City and Yuna will tell you what. The electronic powerhouse and Malaysian songbird have teamed up together for new song Shine Your Way, written for upcoming Dreamworks/20th Century Fox animated film The Croods.

And boy, I must say that this is a combination to be reckoned with, though the song is a little too happy-go-lucky. Yuna's silky vocals are a nice match for the track, and her efforts are visible alongside lead singer Adam Young.

Besides being aptly named for the movie (which is about how fire is being discovered in the stone ages), Shine Your Way is a friendly song, though I wouldn't pin it to be one of Owl City's best.

But being a fan of Owl City and animated films myself, it's good to see the band doing music for such soundtracks! Rise of The Guardians and Wreck-it Ralph then The Croods. What next? Watch this space for more updates.

Also, The Croods will open on March 21 in Singapore, and March 22 for worldwide release.
