Here's some news we all can anticipate: the end of American quartet Foo Fighters' four month hiatus (you can stop holding on to your bated breath now, world) and the beginning of an eighth studio album. Hey, that wasn't so long!
And to think that just last October, leading man Dave Grohl announced the hiatus in an open letter to fans that the band was going to held on a pause while he focused on his album, documentary Sound City and live shows. But when it boils down to priorities, I guess you can say Grohl can't let his baby go.
Word's that he revealed to host James Corden at the recent BRIT Awards he was flying back to Los Angeles on that day “to start work on a Foo Fighters record.” What's more surprising and exciting is that the material for the record was already written and good to go.
And when asked if the work would surface, Dave answered with a tight one word - "eventually". Well, we can't wait! Meanwhile, relive some good old FF with Rope, their last single from previous record Wasting Light.
