Rumor Mill: We Are The In Crowd To Release New Album?

By  January 23, 2013

It’s hard to believe that only less than a year ago, Poughkeepsie pop punk band We Are the In Crowd was here to rock *SCAPE Warehouse.

It’s even harder for one to wrap one’s mind around the fact that that their debut album, Best Intentions, has led them all around the globe from the sweaty summers of Warped Tour to even our humbly humid island over an extended period of time that’s impressive to say the least. Without too many new releases other than an appetite for a pretty rigorous (but probably rewarding) tour schedule, it’s about time that the band seems to be set on getting out some new tunes.

WATIC have announced that they have entered a recording studio somewhere in Georgia (just in time to catch the 49ers head to the Super Bowl after beating the Falcons) and are officially playing professional Madden games as part of the presumably traditional recording process.

Though it’s unclear at this point whether the band is recording a musical (with full opera arrangements), a whole new album or an EP, we’re all pretty stoked to finally embark on the next WATIC chapter where only promises of good music and Mike Ferri lie ahead.

"Georgia! So happy to be back in the land of two buck chuck, QT, Zaxbys, new WATIC songs and bunk bed kingdom. Commence Super Neat Vol.3" -  Tay Jardine
