We all know that pop punk band Fall Out Boy is on a hiatus (please come back already!), but recently, there was a decade old footage of the group released that caused quite a commotion amongst fans.
YouTuber Deadxstop, who decided to release the video, claims that the footage has never been seen before. And old is gold. While it's impossible to get any new material from the boys anytime soon, this is a Godsend!
The video shows FOB playing a gig in their early days, far from being known as America's Suitehearts (gasp, a chubbier Patrick and thinner Pete Wentz!).
The quality might be a tad poor, but one can still make out the 2 songs that would eventually be smash hits: Dead On Arrival and Reinventing The Wheel To Run Myself Over.
However, these 2 tracks from the setlist will only see the light while the rest of the footage will remain kept in a shoebox inside the YouTuber's basement.
Though I agree that this is precious pop punk memento, I think it deserves more audience than just dust mites in a shoebox.
