Just two more months before they drop their album, Battle Born, The Killers perform some new tracks to give us all a taste of what their new album would sound like.
On tour in the US, the band premiered three new tracks (Rising Tide, Miss Atomic Bomb and Flesh and Bones) and performed Runaways, the lead single to their album. Though the audio for the videos below is a bit dodgy, they do provide a pretty good gauge of what Battle Born would sound like. Lead singer, Brandon Flowers' signature vocals basically pierces through the loud crowd and makes watching the videos rather bearable. It also helps that he's ravishingly good looking!
Overall, I find the new songs to be pretty mediocre (probably because of the bad audio). I was sort of expecting the band to have more whimsical sounding songs but it looks like Battle Born will feature more intense and darker sounding songs instead. Still, I'm pretty excited to hear what the rest of the album sounds like!
Be sure to listen to the three new tracks below! Battle Born is set for release September 17!
Miss Atomic Bomb:
Flesh and Bones (I quite like this one!):
