I’m not gonna lie, when I reached the hotel that American pop-punk band We Are The In Crowd was staying at, I could feel my inner crazed-fan coming out. I mean, this is We Are The In Crowd we’re talking about, and anyone who knew me would know I am one of those err, dedicated fans of their music.

I loved how warm and open the band was throughout the interview! Even before the cameras were switched on they were already grilling me about whether it was “a perfect beach day in Singapore” and lying about how they loved the weather here (nice try, guys). To be honest, it kinda felt like I was just hanging out with a bunch of old mates, not a popular band with 100,000 likes on their Facebook page!

From imitating the Pokemon, Jigglypuff, to making up pick-up lines worthy of Barney Stinson’s approval, the band proves that they’re really just a bunch of kids who’s in the scene for pure joy, and not for the money or fame.
