When I received an email about interviewing a1, I quickly agreed and started jumping around in my room like a little girl. Its no surprise, because when a1 was at the peak of their career in 2002, I was still a little girl. Ten years on, I have grown up and so have the boys, but the fan-girlism doesn't go away.
In Singapore for a couple of days for a power-packed show with other famous boybands such as Blue and Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees, Ben Adams, Mark Read and Christian Ingebrigtsen were beyond excited. During the interview, Mark admitted that they had no expectations as to how the turn-out for the concert will be, considering that it has been a decade since the boys were on our shores. Oh Mark, you can come here every weekend, and I, your fans will still be at every show, doe-eyed and all.
I know the band is still known for their pop-ish sounds back from the early 2000's, but it feels like they have grown up along with us as a band. Check out our review of Waiting for Daylight here!
