WATCH: Kelly Clarkson Performs Coldplay, Cee Lo Green and Carrie Underwood Covers On ‘Stronger’ Tour
Looks like Kelly Clarkson is taking a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book! The singing sensation has been incorporating covers into her shows as she travels across the country on her Stronger tour. A great way for any artist to spice up their live shows and of course, show off their versatility and singing chops!
Naturally, Kelly sounds amazing on all her covers. After all, she had lots of practice singing other people’s songs as a contestant during the first season of American Idol. It’s hard to believe that 2012 marks Kelly’s tenth year in the music industry!
Still thankful to the audience that the fans voted for her, the ever humble Kelly let her fans decide on the covers on her setlist through requests on Twitter!
Despite a pretty long setlist, Kelly managed to fit in 2 covers at her Connecticut show which includes Carrie Underwood’s I Know You Won’t. She said, “I loved it and I was like ‘oh I wish I had a song like that’ but I don’t so I’m just gonna steal it.”
The song is quite an underrated track from Carrie’s album and Kelly’s rendition of the song is a must-watch! Check out her covers of Fix You and Forget You as well.

Actually she HAS been doing covers for her old tours even, like Seven Nation Army and such. Just as almost every other artiste does. So she’s not exactly taking a leaf our of anyone’s books. Anyway she sounds amazing like usual
^ yes, she did around probably 9-10 covers on her her previous album tours alone. and she has been doing it since her first album. she always did a tremendous job. it’s really nothing swift invented for sure..
