The Wanted Interview with Spin or Bin Music (again!)

By  September 25, 2011

The lads from The Wanted were recently in town to promote their upcoming sophomore record, due out this November. After performing at St James Powerhouse (read our review here!) and a whole lot of other promotional activities, we finally managed to catch up with Tom, Nathan, Jay, Siva and Max at a round table interview.

This wasn't my first time talking to the five of them and as usual, they were chatty and funny and everything nice (and its not only because they are a bunch of good-looking people). They talked about fans, girls and local food (Jay likened the taste of durians to the taste of human faeces and cheese). Plus, the boys seem to remember the existence of Spin or Bin Music! It was a casual interview, yet you get the sense that within the short time span from the time they were previous in Singapore till now, the boys had matured and are more than ready to showcase their music to the world.

I gotta say though, it was tremendously frustrating when most of the questions being asked were not music-related, and it didn't help that there was a very adamant journalist who refuses to give other interviewers a chance to ask questions (Manners, lady, manners!).

But all is well in the universe again when at the end of the interview, we bid our farewells and Tom gave me a hug and a peck on the cheek. I might have frozen for a good two seconds (only two, because we were being chased out of the room haha). Not trying to make you fangirls jealous, but just saying.
